Marla Harvey | Facilitator
Marla has over 15 years of experience in empowering others to improve their lives and has worked with diverse communities throughout the country as a coach, trainer, and mentor. From training non-native English speaking women to lobby for better wages, teaching candidates how to run for office, counseling parishioners through difficult situations,and helping Type 2 Diabetics transform their lifestyles, her passion is to help people find their inner strength and desire to improve their lives and support them as they work towards the completion of their goals.
She holds a B.A. in political science from UC Berkeley, M.A. in Coaching from Liberty University and is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Wellness Coach. She has served on the board of Emerge California and the Minority Citizens Advisory Council of the Bay Area MTC.
When she’s not coaching or writing, she’s making music and leading congregations throughout the Bay Area, spending time with her two amazing daughters, or teaching Zumba classes.
